               Play Therapy

I have found play therapy to be one of the best modalities in working with children. The rationale for play therapy is using the basic medium of play for children to express themselves and learn new skills. My approach non-directive and directive at times, depending on the child, the concerns, and phase of treatment. In working with children I believe it is important to involve the parents and possibly other family members including siblings.
